Syndicate leads may receive confirmation letters from the IRS stating your SPV has been assigned an EIN. Canopy applied for the EINs online and received confirmation immediately, so they are already kept within our records. 

The EINs are used (by Canopy) to file the partnership returns of the SPVs but no further action is required on your end. Feel free to dispose of the confirmation letters unless you wish to keep for your own records. 

You may also disregard the listed due dates — depending on when they were applied, the IRS automatically assumes the following year as the filing deadline.
