How do I fund my allocation with Canopy 1-Click ACH?

We've integrated with bank-to-bank payments partners Plaid and Modern Treasury to allow you to fund your investment via Canopy 1-Click ACH

Canopy 1-Click ACH is currently a beta feature. We are working on rolling out this feature to all our customers.

Canopy 1-Click ACH is our in-app ACH feature that allows you to seamlessly and securely fund an investment directly within the Canopy platform.

1. On the funding page, click on the Canopy 1-Click ACH option for funding


2. Select Link your Bank Account to initiate the authentication process


3. You will be taken to our partner's integration flow. To continue linking your bank, click Continue


4. Then, select the bank you would like to use to fund your opportunity

If your connection is failing, try turning off two-factor authentication with your bank. For more tips, you can also check Plaid's troubleshooting page


5. Follow the prompts, and once your bank credentials are entered and summited, you should see a confirmation screen for your linked bank account


6. Click Continue and select the account you would like to fund the investment from


7. Once you select the account and verify your balance is sufficient for your allocation, you can click Initiate $... Transfer to review the transfer details


8. Review the transfer details, and when ready, initiate the transfer by clicking Fund Now


9. You completed funding your investment via Canopy 1-Click ACH. Your account should now reflect the new transfer status

Common Troubleshooting Tips

  1. Ensure that your bank account's balance is enough for your transaction.
  2. Double-check that your credentials are correct and that you are able to login through your institution's website or app.
  3. Try re-authenticating by unlinking your bank account, and then re-linking your account through Plaid.
